Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to ListingSlip ("the service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Contact: hello@listingslip.com.

These Terms are a product draft, not a substitute for counsel. Have them reviewed before commercial launch.

1. The service

ListingSlip watches Etsy shops you connect via Etsy's official API, detects listings losing views/favorites relative to their own baseline, suggests tag and title fixes, and can apply fixes you approve. We do not scrape Etsy and do not access other members' shops.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be of legal age in your jurisdiction.

3. Etsy account and compliance

You represent that you own or are authorized to manage the Etsy shop(s) you connect. You authorize us to act on your behalf only within the OAuth scopes you grant (read listings/sales data; write listing tags/title when you apply a fix). You remain responsible for your Etsy listings and compliance with Etsy's policies. ListingSlip is independent of Etsy, Inc.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to breach tenant isolation, scrape third-party data through us, spam, or reverse-engineer the service for competitive abuse.

5. Plans and billing

Free and paid plans are described on the pricing page. Free includes limited shops/listings and weekly digests. Pro unlocks broader monitoring, one-click apply, and daily alerts. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We will give notice of material pricing changes. Commercial Access to the Etsy API is required before we charge customers; until then paid checkout may be disabled.

We charge for our analytics and automation — not for bare access to free Etsy features.

6. Organizations and data

Data within an organization is scoped to that organization. Owners control membership. You retain ownership of your content. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." Decline detection is statistical and may miss or over-flag listings, especially on thin traffic. We do not guarantee sales, search rank, or Etsy algorithm outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ListingSlip and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.
